Don't you love coloring?

Hello again!
It has been too long, but for good reason. I have been so busy with random projects, brew works labels, and of course, the art wars, that I haven't had much time to sit and update this thing. So, I'll try to keep this brief.
I took third place in art wars this year! I know, I didn't win, which obviously would have been nice, but you can't win 'em all! What matters is, I had fun, and still managed to make it all the way to the final round, which, after winning last year, was all I really wanted. Didn't want to wash out in year two, you know? I don't have pictures of all four rounds yet, but here are the pieces I did for the "throwdown" (tryouts) and round 1.
This was the Throwdown. The Theme was "creation."
Round 1 - The them was "He said, She said." Sloppy and a little ambitious, I know, but I managed to move on!
I will post the others when I get better pics of them. The auction for all the pieces will be sometime in August, I imagine. No date has been set yet, but all the info is posted on the Art Wars facebook page.
Meanwhile, I've been working hard on coloring books for crayola! It has been a long, and tedious process, but it has also been my favorite freelance project ever! I basically am doing two 32 page activity sticker books. I've enjoyed it so much, and I really hope I get the opportunity to do more in the future!
I have completed the Pawn Shop Porter beer label, and again, when I have a good file of that, I'll post that up in Illustration.
So, keeping busy! and as usual, I will leave you with some of my new chalkboards. I have put six new ones up in my signage page, and I willl auction them, and any new ones I do, in the mug club auction at Bethlehem Brew Works at the beginning of september. So, here's a sample, just click on it, and check out the other boards!
Thanks again for coming by, see you next time!
